The IAESTE national committee in the student's own country runs a national selection and nominates the most qualified applicants. The internship provider in Germany then decides which applicants to accept. In India, students register on the IAESTE Exchange Platform, apply with a CV and transcript, are reviewed and ranked by IAESTE, are nominated with the full document set, and normally hear the employer's decision in about 4-6 weeks.
