Overview
The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships pick 100 of India's brightest postgraduate students every year in future-facing fields of Engineering and Life Sciences, and support them with a large grant plus a development programme.
Scholars receive up to ₹6,00,000 over the length of their degree. 80% of the money is paid in advance at the start of each academic year for tuition and direct academic costs; the remaining 20% is available on request for professional development such as conferences.
Who can apply: first-year postgraduate students at institutes across India studying Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Material Science & Engineering, or Life Sciences.
Unlike the undergraduate scholarship, this one has no income limit — the Foundation says applicants from all socio-economic backgrounds are welcome and selection is purely on merit.
