Overview
The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships support up to 5,000 students every year through their college education, on a merit-cum-means basis. It is one of India's largest private scholarship programmes.
Selected scholars get up to ₹2,00,000 over the full length of their degree. You also join a large alumni network and support system, which the Foundation says is designed to help your long-term career.
Who can apply: resident Indian citizens who passed Class 12 with at least 60% and are enrolled in the first year (2026-27) of a regular, full-time degree in any stream. Your household income must be under ₹15 lakh, with preference given to families under ₹2.5 lakh. Girls and specially-abled students are encouraged to apply.
Who cannot apply: students already in 2nd year or higher, students studying through online, hybrid, remote or distance mode, students who did a diploma after Class 10, and students in 2-year or 6-year UG courses.
Selection: you fill the online form and then take a compulsory aptitude test — 60 minutes, 60 multiple-choice questions on verbal, analytical/logical and numerical ability. How you're selected
Apply online, then take a compulsory online aptitude test — 60 minutes, 60 multiple-choice questions covering verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability. First-level selection combines your aptitude test score with your academic and personal information. Up to 5,000 scholars are announced, all judged on merit-cum-means.
