AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)

Benefit

No monthly stipend. Food and accommodation at the host institute are free (AICTE reimburses the host institute at Rs. 500 per person per day). To-and-fro sleeper class rail fare or bunk class ship fare is reimbursed after you successfully complete the internship; where there is no train or ship, road travel is reimbursed at a maximum of half the taxi fare, or Rs. 6 per km by public/own vehicle.
